| Housed in the completely re-furbished old Lifeboat building on the wharf in St Ives, Alba has fast become the pinnacle of fine dining in the town, specialising in local produce, line-caught fish and seasonal vegetables. Alba has a Modern British menu and smart, informal dining on two floors. Upstairs the view is spectacular through the large window as is the décor, which features suede-covered chairs and banquette seating. Expect to be professionally pampered when eating here, you can really go to town on the food and wine matches; the fine wine list features some of the most sought after wines from around the world. Downstairs there are another 20 covers (enjoying the same décor) and from here you can watch the Chefs at work through a large window.
